Community Business Initiative (CBI) is an informal community economic model accessible to all people and owned by the people.
- It is a simple concept that supports the development of an inclusive economy by mobilising more sustainable business potential within communities resulting in more efficient cycling of available money.
- It establishes capacity within communities to activate, develop and sustain people’s business potential in an integrated and productive manner.
- It is unashamedly Christian but not exclusive. Trusting relationships are developed based on Christian values. Bridges are built across social boundaries.
